FortressAleksandar Gjorgjeski (manager)Fortress is private company Skopje based company founded in 1995. Company is working with wholesale trade and distribution of groceries.
We are among first clients of Anima. As soon as they have offered us GPS solution, we have decided to install one system in one of our distribution vehicles to see the functionality and effectiveness. Within several days I have seen that the advantage to have complete control over distribution vehicle is great. That is why I have asked Anima to install GPS devices in all distribution vehicles.
I usually use Navirec application at work, but also I log in from home or from my laptop when I am on a business trip abroad. Navirec allows me complete control over my vehicles at any time and access from any place. Calculations for spent fuel made before and after the introduction of Navirec vehicle control system showed that we have returned the investment for installation of GPS devices in the vehicles within four months. In addition, by using Navirec GPS system we have double-decreased mobile phone bills since now with a simple click on a button I have information where my employees are without asking them on the phone. Employees discipline is enhanced and that resulted in increase of the productivity. I sincerely recommend Navirec to all the people and companies that want to have complete control over their fleet and to decrease fuel expenses. I have heard about Anima accidentally from a friend of mine who was their client and who was very satisfied with the system so I have decided to install GPS devices in all my trucks. In addition, I have decided to invest in fuel sensors that Anima offered to me to control fuel consumption. I have been looking for a way to have accurate overview of the fuel consumption, but I could not find a decent solution. Each of the trucks is traveling about 5,000 km per month and with the norm fuel consumption of 30 L/100 Km, it turned out that each truck is spending about 1.500 L fuel per month. I had all the bills for the fuel and I could not say anything to the drivers.
But, since the Navirec GPS devices and fuel sensors were installed, it turned out that the trucks actually spend 28 L/100 Km, and that is two liters less than the previously accepted norm. I do not know whether the savings resulted from the rational driving because of the installed GPS devices or from the inability to manipulate with the fuel (or maybe both), but I do know that I have saved 100 L fuel per month, i.e. 1,200 L per year. Considering the fact that the average annual diesel fuel price is 1 EUR/L, my annual saving per truck is 1,200 EUR. [ Top ] Zum Electronic BGMiroslav Ilievski (owner)We have a company for international transportation registered abroad. We are delivering transportation services for Swedish shipping company. Our trucks are constantly driving on relation Sweden – Spain, France – Sweden and Sweden – Germany. We are using Navirec system by Anima for vehicle control and mileage. Currently we do not have fuel sensors since the vehicles are abroad long time, but at first occasion we will also install fuel sensors.
Navirec software is simple to use. Apart from us in the company, it is used by our Swedish partners since they can choose English language interface and to monitor transportation performed by our trucks.
We are planning to purchase several new trucks soon and we are planning to install GPS devices and fuel sensors by Anima in all trucks. [ Top ] Koki-trade Miroslav Petrovski (manager)We are Tetovo-based taxi company with 14 taxi vehicles. In spring 2008 we have installed GPS devices and passenger sensors by Anima. We have transferred all the dispatching activities via computer by using Navirec system. We have started with 9 taxi vehicles and we have immediately spotted the difference between working without GPS - when we have used only map of Tetovo and were manually marking position of the taxi vehicles – and working with computer and GPS Navirec system. It allows us to have much better overview of the real situation of the taxi vehicles, to monitor them in real time on each 5 seconds and to know whether they are occupied, i.e. whether there are passengers in the vehicle. Dispatchers are monitoring all vehicles on their monitors and when needed they are sending the nearest vehicle to the client. The service is much quicker, mileage without passengers is decreased, the drivers are driving more carefully, fuel consumption is decreased, while service and maintenance expenses are decreased. For a year or year and a half with Navirec system, taxi company saved significant amount that allowed us to purchase another 5 new vehicles. Now we are working successfully with 14 vehicles and we hope that this number will increase soon. [ Top ] Haljas, Ltd.Aare Piik, Head of Marketing Haljas Ltd. was founded in Tallinn in 1989 and was at that time one of the first private companies in Estonia. From the small co-operative offering transport services the company has grown into a well known and recognized company dealing with the import, export and wholesale of food stuffs in neighbouring and in a few other European countries.
We wished to monitor the working hours of our salesmen and count the times they visited clients. To get this information, Navirec was installed on our vehicles. We received information about deficits and new possibilities were suggested right after the installation. We where then able to confirm suspected problems with evidence. Our sales grew about 15 % after we analysed our problems and discussed the results with our sales personnel. Management of the company now has a better overview of sales and planning. The Navirec solution helped to discipline our sales personnel, plan our sales and cut the costs.
[ Top ]Balsnack, Ltd.Riho Pandis, Head of Sales Department Balsnack Ltd was established in 1992. Today, we are the only potato chip manufacturer in Estonia. Balsnack was facing trouble in monitoring the traffic and operations of our sales personnel. The company just did not have an overview of vehicle traffic. Navirec was installed on our vehicles to help find a solution. In addition, we wanted to see if our sales strategy was paying off. One of the important parts of the strategy is to have an overview of sales calls in a specific region.
As a result, we clearly saw deficiencies in many sales regions. The following negotiations between management and sales personnel were based on facts, not on emotions and assumptions. We ended up with growing sales, improved efficiency and lower costs.
[ Top ]Cantori, Ltd.Andres Kask, Manager Cantori is a Tartu-based company operating in concrete production and sales. Our ready-mixed concrete lorries were equipped with Navirec-devices. We were monitoring fuel usage, general logistics and tried to detect possible loss of concrete before arrival to the client. We were not afraid to invest in using Navirec, because higher efficiency and lower costs were an obvious incentive! We began saving resources, because a large part of our costs were derived from unplanned and unnecessary vehicle usage. This can now be avoided.
From the first day on installment, the result was a significant saving in expenditure and improvements in discipline, management and logistics. Since direct expenses were the result of poor and inconsiderate vehicle use, savings were produced by the improvement of management and logistical planning. The haul of residual concrete without the consent of the management was terminated. The solution became the only real tool for the management to acquire an overview of events in the company.
